Suprimavera is now building a new structure on colour consulting.
We are pleased to let you know that we would like to contribute our knowledge and expertise in colour and apply it to our environments.
These have a great impact on special effects, in our health,  and mostly our moods. In the coming months we will be posting more images of applications in different room settings.

Moving forward into design,
We have a book called Colour Talk that has come as a small tool for those who may want to keep it as a tool for reference.

Art work for Ovarian Cancer Foundation

This piece was the artwork auctioned for the Ovarian Cancer Foundation. It has a unique colour and composition for this purpose.
I am thankful to all of those who put this event together and for allowing me the opportunity to send this out. Specially to Corina Field whom I wish I had a chance to say goodbye to.

The process of creating is always an interesting one at most. I have been able to create a number of new pieces that I find have had great visual success. It is an experiment that I was able to exercise at a wonderful textile co-op studio in downtown Toronto. It was four of us and we were able to create a number of different pieces to which I chose to execute them onto linen. This was a new medium for me as I usually work with silk. Nonetheless, it was amazing the results, although the effects are not as stark as it would be if I had used silk but there is still a very organic and warm feeling to the colours that really give them a unique lustre.

It is interesting to know that there is always room for change regardless. It is never clear as to how it comes or how one can approach this change. All you know is that you get some good clues for them to occur and when it does, you have to go with it. I have seen folks resist it and it seems to only produce pain and difficulties; so- non resistance I guess is the theme that I will work on with this new line of work.

These are interesting times.
Finding the right time to put this into fabrics and surfaces.
The new images are now quite different.
There is a new style coming up soon.

Watercolour floral design. The use of pastels and brights give a beautiful contrast.
Finding the way back through colour is a wonderful way to go.

Merging into the world of textiles,

Suprimavera has taken on a new venture with fabric.
Designs are unique and for interior application.

Using lots of silks as a base fibre for the fabrics and the outcome is fabulous.

Will be posting newer images as we go along.

This is an opportunity for me to register most of my work and although I am currently an Instructor of Color and Visual Literacy in various colleges in Toronto, it is great to get back to doing some more artwork I so much enjoy. My website will be up and running and will have some recent work posted.

This will be a new series of mono prints and watercolors that will be prepared for a new exhibition running October 2009
